Is anyone using a large 4k touchscreen? Would you use one?

I’m surprised there’s still a wide gap in touchscreen tech. You have a 22" 1920x1080 for $280 or a 27" 2560x1440 for $900, then it’s a jump to $4k for 4k 50" monitors. I could so use a 4k 32", but yet to be found.

Best option I’ve found so far is an Acer 27" 2560x1440 Touchscreen.

Any other options?

Just curious… in what application would one need a 4K Touchscreen?

Various. I’m in and out of a lot of apps these days. I’m done with a mouse. I’ve moved to using a Wacom tablet for the most part, but would like some direct interaction with KeyShot, Fusion 360, SolidWorks, etc. I’ve been spoilt by the Yoga P40 capabilites :frowning:

If I had the money…Surface Studio

I’m waiting for the next Gen of the Studio

Yes, I’m all for Touch/Pen input… my question was more of Why does it have to be for 4K? fingers are fat, and fingerprints on a 4K display would just make me cringe :confounded:

Are you saying I’m fat? Lol. I dunno, I don’t have any problems with it. I use the pen for more precise selection on the Yoga, but still like touch option as well - scrolling, box selection, pan/rotate/zoom.

Yes, no kidding. And it is sooooo smooth too. Just interested in a screen, atm, though :-/
